About the project

Waiting For The Storm To Pass

Artist – Nial W. Adams – 2014

Medium – Oil on Canvas

Size – 24″ x 18″ Landscape

Description –

A big seascape painted in the style of The Dutch School. This history of Norfolk art and artists is closely intertwined with the Dutch artists of the 18th and 19th Century.

This original oil painting represents a sailing ship at sea, waiting for the storm to pass; a metaphor that many people resonate with.

The ship waits at rest, rising the crashing waves as the storm passes. Painted true to the classical techniques of the old masters, this artwork represents a bridge between the traditional and modern.

Framing –

The painting is offered unframed. Framing options can be arranged depending upon your tastes and desires
