Introduction –

Norfolk Artist and Landscape Oil Painter, Nial Adams, will again be teaching A two-day oil painting course in North Norfolk this coming Spring (2020).

After two very successful and sold-out Part 1 Courses in 2019 this Part 2 Course is open to those who have previously attended and would like to extend knowledge and skills in traditional oil painting.

Please note; to ensure enough space and dedicated teaching time for each student there are 12 places available for this Course.

The course will again be held at the stunning Blickling Hall, an impressive Jacobean stately home dating back to 1616 and now in the care of the National Trust.

Who the Course is for –

As mentioned above, this course is aimed at the intermediate and progressing artist. With the programme designed to follow on from the Part 1 Course material.

As a returning student you will be asked to bring 3 (or more) pieces of your own work with you to the Course. One piece should be finished and the other can be started but not yet complete, as we will be working on these over the two days. You’ll also be able to start new pieces, if desired.

Nial will be teaching more advanced techniques and help you to develop and refine your learning from the previous Course, as well as focus on your own individual style and approach.

With twelve hours of tuition and practice, over two days, he will be guiding the group and working with each individual artist to help them learn and understand. Please note; as previously, this is not just a talk-and-chalk demonstration course.

What the Course includes –

As before, the Course fee includes full tuition and the supply of some art materials, paints and medium. However, you will be required to bring your own brushes, fresh and worked-on canvases, easel and a few other things. Some easels may be available to hire for a small charge, please ask.

Full details on this, with a kit-list will be supplied, making it easy for you to prepare. If you have any questions before deciding to book please just contact Nial personally.
